Federal Student Aid – Income-Based Repayment Plan

If your student loan debt is high relative to your income, you may qualify for the Income-Based Repayment Plan (IBR).
Most major types of federal student loans—except for PLUS loans for parents and Consolidation Loans that repaid PLUS loans for parents—are eligible for IBR.

House GOP ponders another federal pay freeze

The federal government’s civilian employees have worked under a salary freeze for about two years, but their incomes will begin to rise after March 27 unless Congress acts to once again halt their salary increases.
Lawmakers are expected to take up the matter in coming months as they address the debt limit and the automatic spending cuts delayed under a “fiscal cliff” deal that President Barack Obama signed Wednesday.
White House: Your Pay is Officially Frozen Through March 2013

The president made the pay freeze extension on the federal workforce official this afternoon (12/21/2012) when he issued a presidential memorandum directing heads of agencies to not issue any pay increases until at least March 27, 2013.
President Obama had previously said he wanted to end the pay freeze in 2013 and give federal employees a 0.5% pay raise, but would not do so until Congress passes a budget.

After 27 months of intensive hard labor the goal of a new contract has finally been achieved.
What we need you the Union Member to do is “VOTE”, to ratify (approve) or not ratify (deny) the new contract.
This ratification vote must be completed by June 12, 2012. Information on how to VOTE will be attached.
